Below are some health habits that I consistently practice. Through research and personal experience I have found them to be beneficial to my overall health. Try adding one in every week or everyday if you’re feeling bold.
Daily walk
Exercise: The Amazing Health Benefits give this article a read if you’re interested in the science of exercise and the wonderful benefits it provides. A daily walk is a great way to get your body moving every day. It’s an excellent method to be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy nature. Added benefits like soaking in sun rays (vitamin D), and getting your heart rate up may help your willingness to do so.
Half your body weight in ounces of water per day
Hydration is key for health and brain function. Aim for drinking half your body weight in ounces of water a day. I weigh 210 lbs which would equate to 105 ounces of water a day… almost 7 Poland spring bottles of water (I use a 20 ounce water bottle and fill it up at least 5 times per day.
5 minutes of meditation
You can read my article on The Power of Meditation to find the amazing benefits of meditation and mindfulness.

Techno Curfew 30+ minutes before bed
This health habit will help you wind down from a long day of technology usage. Blue light can suppress your melatonin secretion and won’t allow you to dive into deep sleep quickly.
7+ hours of sleep
Improve your Sleep my first post on bfreezehealth.com was on sleep. 7 hours of sleep is a great minimum standard to try and achieve every day. Meeting this metric consistently will help you maintain optimal health and increase your performance
